Marvinas Bay Lodge was first built in 1985, by Arthur Newton Mangles. The cabin was built to entertain coroporate clinets with the many beautys of Nookta Island. Now run by his family, the "Marvinas Bay Fishing Trip" is one that is looked forward to all year round by the many groups who return annually. Nootka sound, Friendly Cove and Boston point have much history dating back to when captian cook first discovered it, in 1778.
